Focus on... Repossessions

London House Franchise Owners undertake many instructions to repossess property. Of course, the national number of properties being repossessed is a general reflection on the economy but we find that our numbers remain fairly constant. We are well versed in properties of all types and undertake both residential and commercial repossessions. We arrive on site and after the bailiff has executed his warrant we take over. Working to a detailed report form we make all the arrangements to ensure the property is suitable for our clients needs. From reading the meters, advising the utility companies, changing locks, securing the windows, clearance, repair etc we organise it all to leave the property safe, hygienic, secure and ready for resale.

Focus On… Outstanding reputation

London House is very proud of it's reputation and that of its Franchise Owners. It is important to our clients, and their clients, that they use a firm of investigators that plays by the rules, as it is their reputation which is at stake.

We CRB check all our Franchise Owners and staff. All of our offices carry Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance cover.

All hold a Consumer Credit Licence, are registered for Data Protection and are individual members of The Credit Services Association thereby working to a published Code of Practice.

This is vital when we are working "in the field" or in the office for our clients tracing people, process serving or any other instruction we are asked to undertake, and gives us the competitive edge.

Focus on... International work

Many of you will remember that we rebranded to "International". This was to reflect the growing levels of work we are undertaking overseas. We have a large and reliable network of agents around the world who work to the same high standards as ourselves and within the relevant law of the country in which they are operating. We can provide a full range of services overseas including, trace, surveillance, discreet enquiries, asset investigations and process serving. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more information or a quotation.

Focus on... Process Serving

It is a common fact that when claim forms are sent out direct from the Courts, many are returned "Gone Away". One of the strengths of having our own field force to serve documents is the ability to confirm that the subject is indeed resident, with at least 50% of those dealt with still at the address already provided. This is down to the efforts of our managers in making enquiries into the subjects residential status. Once confirmed, and if still proving difficult, our findings can be used in evidence to effect service by substituted means.

Focus on... Debt or Asset Recovery

Increasingly we are being asked to help clients recover commercial bad debts or to locate assets that they may not have been aware of. Our Franchise Owners always attend at the address of the debtor on behalf of our client and negotiate in a skilled, professional manner to recover overdue invoices. In the event that the debtor proves reluctant to pay, we are able to advise on the best way forward for that particular case.
We can also be asked to try and locate assets that the debtor may have "hidden away" such as property or machinery. Whilst always operating within the Law we complete our instructions discreetly and report back to our clients. Our report will provide them with details of our findings and help to paint a picture of the subject's lifestyle.

Focus on... Tracing - locating gone away debtors and hidden assets

Our strength is our field force of regional managers (Franchise Owners), all of whom are skilled and experienced in the art of tracing. We differ from many traditional agencies in that we do not rely purely on database enquiries... why have a field force and keep them shut away! Our managers always attend at the last known address of the subject and begin their enquiries by speaking to occupiers, neighbours, etc. always discreetly and always within current legislation. We follow the trail, wherever it may lead, and keep going until we have an answer. We are succesful in the majority of cases and there is a certain amount of satisfaction, for us and you, in our finding that person that just didn't want to be found.
